What is it?

An untihelmintic preparation (kills worms) available as a powder in dual dose sachets containing 4g of piperazine phosphate and standardised senna equivalent to 15.3mg of total sennosides, per sachet.

Medical Uses

Threadworms, roundworms.

Dosage

Adults, 1 sachet with dose repeated after 2 weeks. Children, aged 3 months to 1 year, 1/3 sachet; aged 1 to 6 years, 2/3 sachet; aged 6 years and over, as adult. All doses repeated after 2 weeks.

Special Care

Breastfeeding, patients with neurological disorders.

Avoid Use

Epilepsy, kidney or liver failure.

Known Side Effects

In rare cases, disturbance of vision, vertigo.
