Psoriderm

What is it?

An antipsoriatic preparation available as an emulsion for the bath containing 40% coal tar. Also, PSORIDERM CREAM, containing 6%coal tar and 0.4% lecithin. Also, PSORIDERM SCALP LOTION, containing 2.5% coal tar and 0.3% lecithin.

Medical Uses

Chronic psoriasis.

Dosage

Emulsion, add 30ml to bath and immerse for 5 minutes; after drying, apply cream. Cream, rub into affected skin twice each day. Scalp lotion, apply and use as a shampoo.

Avoid Use

Acute flare-ups of psoriasis.

Known Side Effects

Sensitivity to light, irritation of skin.
