Quellada M

What is it?

A pediculicide and scabicide (kills lice) available as a liquid containing 0.5% malathion. Also, QUELLADAM SHAMPOO, containing 1% malathion.

Medical Uses

Head lice, pubic lice scabies. Shampoo not for scabies.

Dosage

Head lice, Quellada M, apply generously, leave for 12 hours then shampoo off. Pubic lice, apply to all hairy areas including moustache and beard and leave for 1 to 12 hours before washing off. Scabies, apply to all the body below the neck and leave for 24 hours before bathing or showering to wash off. Shampoo, head and pubic lice only, wet hair, apply shampoo and leave for 5 minutes then wash off. Repeat. Comb hair before drying. Repeat 3 times every 3 days.

Special Care

Babies aged under 6 months. do not allow contact with eyes.
