Refolinon

What is it?

A preparation of folinic acid (as a calcium salt) available as pale yellow tablets containing 15mg marked F and CF. Also, REFOLINON INJECTION, containing 3mg per ml. Usedfor: megaloblastic anaemia caused by deficiency of folate, antidote or rescue after treatment with large doses of methotrexate.

Dosage

1 tablet daily for anaemia; consult manufacturer's literature for antidote use.

Avoid Use

Anaemias caused by deficiency of Vitamin Biz.
