What is it?
A preparation of freeze- dried, human coagulation Factor Viii available as powder in single dose vials with diluent, in 3 strengths with nominal antihaemophilic factor activities of 250iu, 500iu and 1000iu.

Dosage
Adults and children according to severity of symptoms, presence of inhibitors and patient's weight. Consult manufacturer's literature.
Special Care
Possible risk of transmission of serious disease-causing viruses including hepatitis b, hepatitis C, AIDS. Risks and benefits should be assessed.
Known Side Effects
Headache, rapid heartbeat rate, nausea, flushing, development of inhibitors. If allergic reactions occur, drug should be withdrawn.
