What is it?

An antibiotic and nitromidazole available as a cream and aqueous gel containing 0.75% metronidazole.

Medical Uses

Inflammatory papules and pustules, erythema of rosacea.

Dosage

Adults, apply thinly to affected area after washing and rub in. Apply in morning and at night.

Special Care

Pregnancy, blood changes. Do not allow contact with eyes.

Known Side Effects

Short-lived skin irritation.
