What is it?

A potassium supplement available as effervescent, white tablets containing 400mg of potassium bicarbonate, 600mg of potassium chloride.

Medical Uses

Potassium deficiency.

Dosage

Adults and children, 2 to 4 tablets each day, dissolved in water. Also, see manufacturer's literature.

Special Care

Addison's disease.

Avoid Use

Crush injuries, kidney disorders, low urine production, high blood potassium levels, severe dehydration.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Ace inhibitors, potassium-sparing diuretics.
