Solvazinc

What is it?

A zinc supplement available as effervescent, off-white tablets containing 125mg of zinc sulphate.

Medical Uses

Diagnosed deficiency in zinc.

Dosage

Adults and children weighing over 30kg, 1 tablet 1 to 3 times each day after meals. Children weighing under 10kg, '/a tablet once each day after meal; weighing 10 to 30kg, half adult dose. All tablets to be added to water.

Special Care

Kidney failure.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Tetracyclines.

Gastrointestinal upset.
