What is it?

A chemotherapeutic agent and alkylating cytotoxic drug, available as white capsules in 4 strengths containing 5mg, 20mg, 100mg and 250mg of temozolomide, marked with logo and strength.

Medical Uses

Malignant glioma (brain tumour) eg anaplastic astrocytoma, glioblastoma mutiforme which has progressed or recurred following first treatment.

Dosage

Adults and children, according to manufacturer's literature. Consult manufacture's literature and any adverse side effects should be reported to the Committee on the Safety of Medicines (CSM).
