What is it?

An esterase-metabolised narcotic analgesic available as powder in vials in 3 strengths containing 1mg, 2mg and 5mg of remifentanil. Usedfor: analgesia during induction and maintenance of anaesthesia; sedation and analgesia in patients in intensive care who are receiving mechanical ventilation.
