Uniroid-HC

What is it?

A steroid and local anaesthetic available as suppositories containing 5mg of hydrocortisone and 5mg of cinchocaine hydrochloride. Also, UNIROID-HC OINTMENT con taining 5mg of hydrocortisone and 5mg of cinchocaine hydrochloride per g.

Medical Uses

Haemorrhoids, itching around the anus.

Dosage

Suppositories, insert 1 twice each day after defaecation for up to 7 days. Ointment, use twice each day and after defaecation, for up to 7 days.

Special Care

Pregnancy. For short-term use only

Avoid Use

Children, infections of a viral, fungal or tuberculous nature.

Known Side Effects

Systemic corticosteroid effects.
