Vermox

What is it?

An antihelmintic preparation available as a suspension containing 100mg of mebendazole per 5ml. Also, VERMOX TABLETS, scored, pink, containing 100mg of mebendazole marked Me/100 and JANSSEN.

Medical Uses

Infestations of large roundworm, threadworm, common and American hookworm, whipworm.

Dosage

Adults and children aged over 2 years; threadworm, 100mg with dose repeated after 2 or 3 weeks if necessary. Other types of worm, 100mg morning and night for 3 days.

Avoid Use

Pregnancy.

Gastrointestinal upset.
