What is it?

An antiviral preparation available as an eye gel containing 0.15% ganciclovir.

Medical Uses

Acute keratitis (inflammation of cornea) caused by herpes infection.

Dosage

Adults, 1 drop 5 times each day until cornea is healed and then 1 drop 3 times each day for further 1 week after healing. Maximum period of use is 3 weeks.

Avoid Use

Children, pregnancy, breast- feeding.

Stinging in eye.
