What is it?

A preparation for dissolving ear wax available as drops containing 0.5% docusate sodium.

Medical Uses

Softening of ear wax prior to syringing.

Dosage

Put 1 or more drops into ear for up to 2 nights before syringing.

Avoid Use

Perfirated ear drum.

Known Side Effects

Short-lived stinging and irritation.
